An absolute insider tip for guests who do not know it yet and who are not from the area. Super delicious and home-made, good home-style Swabian food at absolutely fair prices. We had wild boar and deer with sautéed mushrooms and napkin dumplings with a delicious sauce. The meat was fried to the point and the freshness couldn't be beat. Our dessert with the delicious chocolate cake deserves special praise. Both the service and the kitchen get more than kudos from us for the great evening we were allowed to spend here. We would definitely like to come back.

We have already been to the Obermühle very often and have never had bad experiences. On the contrary, if you think that you have reached the top of the enjoyment, you will give it another shot the next time you visit. The warmth of the family and the always nice and fast service complete the picture. There is also a great wine list that always has the perfect accompaniment to the meal. See you soon Miri and Lars

I definitely wouldn't go back here. The quality of the completely overpriced food was far from convincing and the sloppy compliance with pandemic control regulations was also unacceptable. The food was literally swimming in fat and oil. Nothing special in terms of taste, but far too much oil in the food. In my opinion, the food was absolutely not appropriate for the extreme price. Because of the amount of oil, I felt sick for a few hours after eating. Regulations for fighting pandemics against Covd19 were also not complied with: although slips were laid out for our contact details, no one asked for or checked whether they were filled out. They weren't collected either. It is to be hoped that those who are so indifferent to the regulations of the health department will hopefully take a closer look at hygiene regulations in the kitchen.

Very tasty, very friendly, absolutely child-friendly. We had 6 different dishes: kässpätzle, burger medium and through, salad with steak and roast and pork loin. There was nothing wrong with it.

Incredibly nice owners, the food is really excellent (whether salad, meat or other dishes) and the location itself is rustic inside and very inviting on the terrace outside. Highly recommended, one of the best restaurants in the Welzheimer Wald!

The meals are very tasty and fully met the price. The restaurant is also very idyllic and we all really enjoyed the evening.

I went there especially for wild garlic ravioli and wild garlic soup. The soup tasted good for 6.90 euros. The wild garlic dumplings were filled with meat. A shame, I had to switch to cheese spaetzle, well. My companion ordered a side salad. He got a medium plate of salad, which was charged for 11.90 euros .... Side salad (?!) .... Service was nice. But, I do not see that I should stop here for Corona and make up for the minus of the past few weeks. My employer doesn't pay me any more, either. For us it was.

Mega delicious Swabian food! Very, very friendly service! Also very child-friendly! Definitely worth a visit! If we weren't in transit, it would be our regular pub!

The roast roast was good only unfortunately amputated it lacked the fat edge! We were served well and very friendly. Next time please with the flavor carrier ..

I’ve dined here on many occasions. The chef is amazing and the service impeccable. The prices for the food and drinks are very reasonable. It’s the best place I’ve found to eat while traveling in Germany. I highly recommend zur Obermuhle. Especially if you expect consistency, a friendly face, and value for your money.
